Mountbellew Moylough Under 10 footballers recently enjoyed a very successful end to their season. On Saturday 12th October we were victorious in the Ena Briggs Trophy, held in Mountbellew. We recorded excellent victories over Kilkerrin-Clonberne, St Brendan’s and Caltra. Afterwards Peadar Briggs presented the Ena Briggs Trophy to a delighted captain Robert Colleran. Our panel of 23 players were: Robert Colleran (Captain), Ben Murphy, Michael Ryan, Joseph Ryan, Shea Fallon, Gary Cummins, Mark Kilcommins, Andrew Cummins, Ryan Nolan, Alan Feeley, Adrian Feeley, Eoin Loftus, John Donellan, Ronan Murphy, Daithi Colleran, Luke Cunningham, Jack Donaghue, Shane Lyons, Joseph Gallagher, Darragh Duffy, Oisin Colleran, Oisin Lohan, Sean Rocke. Thanks to Peadar and all the parents for the great spread of food available in the clubhouse afterwards.
On Thursday night last we travelled to Clonberne to take part in their Blitz. After opening with a draw against our hosts Kilkerrin-Clonberne, we recorded big victories over Killererin and Dunmore, to finish joint first with our hosts. Thanks to Kilkerrin-Clonberne for an enjoyable night to complete our season.
